Finding Magic in an Inspiration Adventure
I’ve owned my campervan for three years now, yet I often forget to go on adventures. During the first year, I couldn’t get enough of van outings. Whether they were day trips or overnighters, I loved them all. However, the novelty has since worn off. Consequently, I sometimes forget I have these amazing opportunities at my fingertips.
An Invitation to Adventure
When my friend Sara suggested a campervan overnighter in the Peak District, I jumped at the chance. We arrived on Saturday evening at a beautiful spot overlooking Hayfield. The views were breathtaking.
Getting Perspective
There is something about being high up in a remote spot that feels like a proper escape. While we were there, we ate delicious food and caught up. We also spent time journaling and pulling tarot cards for reflection.
You Don’t Need to go on Holiday
The trip was so inspirational and fun and it was super easy to arrange. Normally, people think it takes a holiday to get that sense of freedom and perspective. Instead, a short trip can do the trick.
I realise not everyone has a campervan to replicate this exact experience. But you could pitch a tent with a pal or do a hilltop sunset hangout. Most of us live not too far from stunning countryside. Even taking an hour or two in a beauty spot can alter how we feel quite dramatically.
